Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Ødegaard also impressed as a late substitute in the previous Premier League win at Newcastle. Mikel Arteta praised Ødegaard's creativity, ball-carrying, passing and movement, and granted him freedom to take risks.
