After previous takeover attempts, the ownership change coincided with promotion from League One to the Championship as champions. Knighthead unveiled renderings for a proposed 62,000-capacity stadium in Bordesley Green, featuring a retractable roof, moveable pitch, and steep terraces, targeted to open for the 2030–31 season.
