Palace fans protest over Conference League demotion
Briefly

Crystal Palace supporters protested Uefa's decision to demote the club to the Conference League. After winning the FA Cup, the club was denied entry into the Europa League due to breaching multi-club ownership rules, as owner John Textor also holds a stake in Lyon. Following a missed restructure deadline, Nottingham Forest will replace Palace in the Europa League. Fans and officials decried the decision as an injustice harming the club and its supporters, and there are intentions to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
"At the end of the day it's an injustice, just by a couple of admin errors. We qualified for it," Nick Philpot from the Red and Blue Review podcast said at the march.
"We've been locked out of a European competition on the most ridiculous technicality," Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said.
