Gary O'Neil has been appointed Strasbourg manager after Liam Rosenior left to join Chelsea. O'Neil is 42 and previously managed Premier League sides Bournemouth and Wolves. He expressed pride in joining a club with a high-quality squad and clear, ambitious goals and highlighted Racing's unique history, passion, resilience and loyal fans who want attractive football and success. O'Neil stated his priority is to work hard with the team and give everything for the club's success. Strasbourg sit seventh in Ligue 1 and are part of the BlueCo multi-club ownership group. Club president Marc Keller described O'Neil as a demanding, respected coach with a modern approach. O'Neil has managed 88 Premier League matches and was sacked by Wolves in December 2024 while the club sat in relegation places.
