"We are delighted to welcome such a strong addition with international experience in a strategically important area. The supervisory board believes that Rouven Kasper is the right choice, both professionally and personally, to help us achieve FC Bayern's ambitious goals in the areas of marketing and sales, especially as he already knows our club very well. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my colleague Dietmar Allgaier, president and chairman of the supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart, for the constructive and trusting discussions we had."
"I would like to express my sincere thanks for the trust and productive dialogue with the supervisory board over the past few weeks. I am now very much looking forward to working with my colleagues on the executive board and the entire team. Our common goal is to work tirelessly on the further development of FC Bayern, and I want to contribute to this. This great job is both an honour and an incentive for me."
Rouven Kasper, a 43-year-old sports economist, will become FC Bayern München's board member for marketing and sales on 1 January 2026. Kasper previously served as a member of the board at VfB Stuttgart. He began his career at global marketing agency Sportfive and joined FC Bayern in 2016, serving as President Asia until 2021 and overseeing Asia-Pacific activities. Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president and supervisory board chairman, praised Kasper's international experience and familiarity with the club and thanked Dietmar Allgaier for constructive discussions. Kasper said he aims to increase the club's global appeal while laying economic foundations for a successful sporting future.
