Nottingham Forest confirm Vitor Pereira as fourth head coach of season
"The former Wolves manager takes over from Sean Dyche, who was sacked on Thursday, on a contract until June 2027. Pereira inherits a team one place and three points above the relegation zone. Dyche lasted 25 matches after replacing Ange Postecoglou, who was given eight games as the successor to Nuno Espirito Santo. Pereira's first fixture is at Fenerbahce on Thursday in the Europa League, before a home match against Liverpool three days later."
"The Portuguese, who has worked under Forest's owner, Evangelos Marinakis, at Olympiakos, was sacked by Wolves last November after saving them from relegation the previous season. Pereira was nominated for the Premier League's manager of the year award last season after sparking an immediate uplift at Wolves and Forest hope the 57-year-old will have a similar impact at the City Ground."

Some senior players raised concerns about Dyche's methods and Forest were knocked out of the FA Cup by Wrexham.
