Rúben Neves revealed a tattoo on his left calf showing him embracing Diogo Jota wearing a "Diogo J." jersey with the No. 21 during a Portugal training session. Neves is preparing with the national team for World Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Hungary. Jota died alongside his brother André Silva in a car crash on July 3 in Spain. Neves played with Jota for Portugal, Porto and Wolves and served as one of Jota's pallbearers after competing with Al Hilal at the FIFA Club World Cup. The Portuguese Football Federation held a ceremony honoring Jota and former FC Porto captain Jorge Costa; Portugal's full 23-man squad attended, Jota's family received a special medal, and bronze-framed jerseys bearing Jota's No. 21 and Costa's No. 2 were unveiled.
