Morocco topped their CAF qualifying group, winning all eight matches, scoring 22 goals and conceding just two. The team enters the Arab Cup without several Europe-based stars such as Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz, instead selecting an Arab-region squad featuring Eliesee Ben Seghir, Bilal El Khannouss and Amine Adli. After a victory over Congo in October, Morocco recorded a 16-match winning streak, surpassing Spain’s 2009 run of 15 consecutive wins.
