"United manager Jim Goodwin described the 23-year-old Swede as having a "terrific physical profile" and being "perfectly suited to the combative nature" of Scottish football when he signed in August."
""Nikolaj fits the profile we are looking for. "He is big and strong, good at turning the ball and wins an extremely large number of headers. "In addition, he scores a lot in the box when he gets the chance. The potential is indisputable.""
"Moller is "very happy" to be at the Eliteserien club and has targeted "scoring goals and getting assists" as his new team prepare for the start of the 2026 season."
Nikolaj Moller has left Dundee United to join Norwegian club Sandefjord for an undisclosed fee, less than six months after arriving from St Gallen on a free transfer. He made 20 appearances for United, seven of them starts, and scored one goal in a Scottish Cup fourth-round win over Ayr United. He started the following two league games, both defeats. Moller previously spent last season on loan at Stromsgodset, scoring five goals in 24 games as that club were relegated. He had an initial two-year contract with a club option of a further year. Sandefjord’s sporting director praised his physicality, aerial ability and goal instincts, and Moller has said he is very happy and aims to score goals and provide assists for the 2026 season.
