He chose Manuel Neuer as goalkeeper, Alphonso Davies who recently returned from injury, Joshua Kimmich as the midfield lynchpin and Jamal Musiala as one of Bayern's most highly valued players, along with England captain Harry Kane. Olise has now spent over a year playing with these teammates and demonstrates clear appreciation for their abilities. He notably left himself out of the five, despite being able to fit into the lineup.
