PSG say the actions followed an agreement by the player to forgo end-of-contract payments to protect the club's finances. Mbappé spent 2017–2024 at PSG, scoring 256 goals in 308 games and winning 15 trophies. The Paris labour tribunal is handling the case and a decision is not expected for several weeks.
