Max Eberl does not see the need for Bayern Munich to sign Luka Vuskovic...yet
"If Bayern Munich had a nickel every time a notable talent in the Bundesliga had a good game against them and was subsequently linked to the club, the club could probably break its' 0wn transfer record again. This year's flavor of the year is the highly impressive Luka Vuškovic, who has taken to playing in the Bundesliga as an 18-year-old like a duck to water and forced Bayern to settle for a point in a recent Bundesliga match against Hamburger SV with the equalizing goal."
"He's 18, is playing an outstanding season at HSV, he belongs to Tottenham. But FC Bayern also have very high quality center-backs with Jonathan Tah, Upa, Min-jae - and we also have Itō and Stani who can play there. So we can't just sign every good player that people say we should sign. He's a very good player, no doubt about that. But as I said, first we have to solve the internal transfers."
Bayern Munich have repeatedly been linked to standout Bundesliga talents after strong performances. Luka Vuškovic, 18, has impressed at Hamburger SV and scored an equaliser against Bayern. Max Eberl emphasised that Bayern must first resolve internal contract renewals and extensions before pursuing external targets. Eberl acknowledged Vuškovic's quality and Tottenham ownership while highlighting Bayern's existing centre-back options—Jonathan Tah, Upa, Min-jae, Itō and Stani—and the presence of young Cassiano Kiala. Bayern have not ruled out a move for Vuškovic, but his Tottenham contract through 2030 and Bayern's internal priorities complicate any transfer.
