Match awards from Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over FC Heidenheim
"Niklas Dorsch was a bright spot amongst a relatively uninspired Heidenheim team. Often being the centre of their chance creation by constantly fighting to win back the ball and quickly flipping the direction of play with his well-placed line-breaking passes, Dorsch kept Bayern on their toes. Bayern Munich loanee Arijon Ibrahimović also had a solid performance: his introduction at halftime seemed to revitalise Heidenheim. It is a shame that his highlight of the game was the missed chance that went flying over the crossbar."
"Stanišić could have very well won MOTM tonight. His involvement going forward was instrumental to Bayern's goalscoring tonight, helping conduct the play and getting into all the dangerous positions to score. He opened the scoring after a cheeky header following a corner from Michael Olise (that was kept in by Jonathan Tah, who also deserves a mention for his solid game defensively and distribution-wise)."
Bayern Munich sealed the Hinrunde as Herbstmeister with a 4-0 victory over 17th-placed FC Heidenheim, extending their lead atop the Bundesliga table. Bayern dealt with injuries and sickness but still fielded a sufficiently strong squad to produce a decisive performance. Niklas Dorsch stood out for Heidenheim by winning possession and producing line-breaking passes, while loanee Arijon Ibrahimović energised Heidenheim after halftime despite missing a major chance. Josip Stanišić was instrumental for Bayern, opening the scoring with a cheeky header and later supplying a cross for Luis Díaz, with Jonathan Tah notable defensively and in distribution. Heidenheim substitutes combined well to create chances and maintain pressure.
