Morgan Gautrat has signed for Newcastle on loan from Orlando Pride until the end of December. Gautrat made 31 appearances with Orlando and helped them achieve a record 60 points in the 2024 season, winning both the NWSL Shield and the NWSL championship. She previously played for Kansas City Current, Chicago Stars FC, and OL Lyonnes, winning the French Division 1 title in 2018 during a five-month spell. Gautrat has 88 caps for the United States, winning the World Cup in 2015 and 2019 and featuring in the 2016 Olympic squad. Newcastle highlighted her leadership and top-level experience as key reasons for the signing.
