James Milner made his 654th Premier League appearance, surpassing Gareth Barry's 653, during Brighton's 2-0 victory over Brentford. Milner debuted at 16 for Leeds United and later played for Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Manchester City. He won two Premier League titles with Manchester City before joining Liverpool in 2015, helping Liverpool win the 2019 European title and the 2020 league title, then joined Brighton in 2023.
