Virgil van Dijk scored a late header to secure Liverpool a win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield. Liverpool had taken a two-goal lead but then struggled to break down Atletico. Marcos Llorente scored both of Atletico's goals to level the match 2-2. Llorente has seven Champions League goals, four of which were scored away to Liverpool. In the final stages, Atletico manager Diego Simeone was involved in an altercation with a Liverpool fan near the dugout and was sent off. The fan later tweeted "Do I get the assist? Do i get the assist?". No disciplinary actions have been announced regarding the incident so far.
