They are also coming off of the Cypriot first division title from the 2024-25 season and are currently second in the league table so far this season after five matches played."
""I don't know much about the opponent; we haven't done any analysis yet. Away from home, there's always a special atmosphere. Last year, we struggled away in the Champions League. We'll be very focused and won't underestimate them," Kimmich explained (via @iMiaSanMia)."
Bayern Munich have won their opening eight matches across all competitions, including a 4-0 Bundesliga victory over Werder Bremen, and have scored 30 goals in those games. Vinceny Kompany rotated his lineup for the Bremen match ahead of an away Champions League trip to Pafos FC. Joshua Kimmich was rested after an illness and entered as a 61st-minute substitute. Kimmich warned that Pafos could provide a tricky away test. Pafos have qualified for their first Champions League group stage after winning multiple qualifying rounds and are coming off the 2024-25 Cypriot title.
