Jose Mourinho slammed for 'arguing about racism' comments after Vinicius Jr celebration row
"It should be the crazy moment of the game, an amazing goal. Unfortunately [he was] not just happy to score that astonishing goal. When you score a goal like that, you celebrate in a respectful way. I told [Vinicius], when you score a goal like that you just celebrate and walk back. When he was arguing about racism, I told him the biggest person in the history of this club was black."

Benfica lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie. Vinicius Jr scored early in the second half and reported an alleged racially abusive comment by Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni, which led to a 10-minute delay. Prestianni denied making a racist comment and Benfica defended their player. Mourinho spoke at the side of the pitch, denied racist intent, and suggested Vinicius should have celebrated more respectfully. Mourinho referenced Eusebio as the club's greatest-ever player and attracted widespread criticism for his remarks.
