Visma-Lease a Bike has revealed their team for the upcoming Vuelta a España, aiming to secure victory for Jonas Vingegaard. Vingegaard, a two-time Tour de France champion, is determined to claim his first red jersey despite narrowly missing out to Tadej Pogačar earlier this year. Key support comes from riders like Sepp Kuss, the 2023 Vuelta winner, and Matteo Jorgenson, who returns after illness. Other team members include Dylan van Baarle, Wilco Kelderman, Axel Zingle, and debutant Ben Tulett. Both Vingegaard and the team express clear ambitions for overall success.
"I'm here for the overall win, and with this team supporting me, that seems like a realistic goal," he said.
"The overall win is our big goal, there's no need to be coy about that," Visma's Head of Racing Grischa Niermann added.
