John Terry regards becoming Chelsea manager as his final ambition at Stamford Bridge. He accumulated 717 appearances for Chelsea and won Premier League and Champions League titles while playing under Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte. After retiring, he entered coaching, worked in Chelsea's academy and served as assistant manager at Aston Villa to learn the trade. He believes playing experience alone does not entitle someone to a top managerial role and says learning, understanding the coaching side and assembling top coaches are essential. He accepts the Chelsea opportunity may never materialize.
