"Mateta has blossomed since joining Palace on an initial loan deal from Mainz in January 2021 before the move was made permanent 12 months later for a fee in the region of £9million. The 28-year-old has started every one of Palace's 22 Premier League games this year, scoring eight times. His record has drawn attention from several clubs at home and abroad. Juventus enquired about his availability last week, according to The Athletic, but were put off by Palace's £35m asking price."
