Liverpool's midfield has looked more vulnerable defensively so far, but that's not because of Florian Wirtz they need Ryan Gravenberch back, he's been so underrated' Former Anfield pass master assesses their new-look side
Briefly

Liverpool began the Premier League season with a win over Bournemouth but conceded four goals across their first two competitive matches. The club signed Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a British-record fee of £116m, prompting a midfield tweak. Dominik Szoboszlai has been moved into a deeper role, with Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister filling supporting midfield positions at times. Wirtz is expected to create and score more from the number 10 role, even if that brings occasional defensive openness. Ryan Gravenberch missed the opening matches due to personal reasons and suspension after playing a key role last season.
