Alexander Isak is included in Liverpool's starting XI for Wednesday's Champions League match against Atlético Madrid at Anfield. The 25-year-old joined Liverpool from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day for a British-record £125 million ($171m). Isak was omitted from the matchday squad on Sunday as Liverpool beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor. There is a strong expectation that Isak will make his first appearance for Liverpool in the Champions League tie, but he is not expected to play the full 90 minutes as part of a managed debut and integration plan.
