Pádraig O'Hora is a former Mayo footballer who experienced a troubled teenage period and now works to improve young lives. He remains active with Ballina Stephenites and recently played against Ballyhaunis in the Mayo senior football championship. After that match he undertook an extended endurance sequence, kayaking across the lake for an hour and a half and then cycling 52 kilometres from Foxford to Croagh Patrick in just over two hours. O'Hora is preparing for a significant upcoming challenge while balancing sporting commitments and community work with young people.
