The tournament involves more than 21,000 boys and girls each season and represents all 72 EFL clubs. Schools progress through local and regional stages. The Girls Cup will produce two finalists to play ahead of the Vertu Trophy Final on 12 April 2026, while Kids Cup finalists can walk out at Wembley during the EFL Play-Off Finals over the May Bank Holiday.
