Brian Barry-Murphy played down speculation linking him to French club Strasbourg and said he loves Cardiff. Reports in France named him among candidates should Liam Rosenior take over at Chelsea. Rosenior is the leading contender to replace Enzo Maresca at Chelsea after Maresca's departure. Strasbourg are owned by BlueCo, the consortium that purchased Chelsea in 2022. Barry-Murphy led Cardiff to the top of League One in his first six months, implementing an attacking style. Cardiff maintained a three-point lead with a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic. Barry-Murphy said he is focused on improving the squad and feels lucky to be at Cardiff.
