Macclesfield produced a stunning 2-1 FA Cup victory over holders Crystal Palace, with captain Paul Dawson and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts scoring before Palace's Yeremy Pino hit a 90th-minute free-kick. The non-league side became the first to eliminate the defending champions since 1908–09 and the first to score twice against holders since 1939, overcoming a 117-place gap in the English pyramid.
