Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Al-Nassr after missing three games amid reported unhappiness with the club's management. He scored twice in a 4-0 win over Al-Hazem that put Al-Nassr one point clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League. He affirmed he is happy in Saudi Arabia, feels welcomed along with his family and friends, and wants to continue with the club while the team pushes for the league title. Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after leaving Manchester United, earning an annual salary of 177m. Al-Nassr's only trophy since his arrival remains the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup.
