Gilberto Mora is a 16-year-old Mexican footballer who emerged as a major talent after starting in Mexico's Concacaf Gold Cup final victory over the United States at 16 years and 265 days. He joined Javier Aguirre's side in the quarter-final against Saudi Arabia and remained a key contributor, supplying the crucial pass in the semi-final for Raul Jimenez's winner. Club Tijuana owner Jorge Alberto expressed pride in Mora's rise from Tijuana's youth ranks. Jimenez praised Mora's confidence, personality and potential to inspire future generations.
