Fulham v Chelsea: Line-ups, stats and preview
"The same thing we did against City. Try and prepare with the limited time we have as best we can and try and build on that second-half performance. They know the belief we have in them and we just want to keep reinforcing that."
"Everyone knows how well Moises has played this year. Since he's come to the club, he's a top player, potentially the best player in the world in his position. I think he'll help us with that tomorrow. We definitely missed elements of his game in that first-half [at City]. But like you said, Andrey [Santos] came on, was exceptional in the second-half, really gave us a foothold to control the game both in and out of possession. So, I'm hoping Moises not being suspended, being available, we should be able to really control that midfield area."
Calum McFarlane hopes to end his brief spell in charge of Chelsea with a win at Fulham. He stepped up from the Under-21s to lead the first team for the Manchester City game after Enzo Maresca left on New Year's Day. Chelsea appointed Liam Rosenior as head coach on a six-and-a-half-year deal; Rosenior will be in the stands while McFarlane takes the touchline for the final time. McFarlane highlighted the strong second-half at the Etihad where Enzo Fernández equalised and expects Moises Caicedo back in the starting XI to improve midfield control. Chelsea occupy fifth place and McFarlane described the squad as talented and hungry.
