Frank adamant Van de Ven will remain at Spurs - Soccer News
"He was very happy after the game that we won [against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday] when he was in the changing room after the game. I think Micky is an excellent player. I think he's a fantastic ambassador for this club. I think he has potentially his best season so far. He's fit, he's strong, good defensively, he's growing as a leader, scoring goals as well. He's a very important player for us this season and for the future."
"I would say he's very important for us, so Micky is a Tottenham player now and for the future."
Thomas Frank confirmed Micky van de Ven will not leave Tottenham this summer and described him as very important to the club now and going forward. Van de Ven has played 30 games this season and scored six goals, his best professional single-season total. Tottenham sit fifth in their Champions League group but have struggled domestically, placed 14th in the Premier League and ten points above relegation after finishing 17th last season. Spurs seek to end a four-game league winless run facing Burnley. Frank praised Van de Ven’s fitness, defensive strength, leadership and goal contributions.
