"It's six points, deal with it and focus purely on the football side of it. It's a case of take your medicine. They should just move on from it."
"At least Leicester know the outcome right now,"
"disproportionate"
Leicester City were docked six points for breaches of profit and sustainability rules covering the three years up to 2023-24. The penalty drops the club to 20th and level on points with West Bromwich Albion in the relegation zone. Reported losses exceeded £201m across that period while PSR permitted losses of up to £83m. Former striker Matty Fryatt urged the club to accept the deduction and focus on the football, saying reality has kicked in. The club described the sanction as "disproportionate", said it would consider options, and has an appeals process available after an independent commission decision.
