Carlo Ancelotti believes Xabi Alonso can succeed without any problem as Real Madrid head coach and praises Alonso's vision and early results. Alonso won 13 of Real's opening 14 matches, marking the club's best start in 64 years. Real have since gone two matches without a win, losing 1-0 to Liverpool in the Champions League and drawing 0-0 at Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga. Ancelotti departed Real in the summer and accepted the Brazil national team job.
