Nani emerged from Sporting CP's youth system, joined Manchester United in 2007, won four Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League, and later played for several clubs worldwide. He earned 112 caps for Portugal and helped win Euro 2016. Aktobe finished fifth last domestic season, 16 points behind Kairat Almaty.
