Flamengo are closing in on an agreement with West Ham to sign midfielder Lucas Paquetá for a fixed fee of £35.78m with no performance-related add-ons. The agreed overall fee is in place, but the payment structure remains the final obstacle to completing the transfer. Paquetá has 18 months left on his West Ham contract and has agreed personal terms with Flamengo through December 2029.
