Scotland reached the finals for the first time since 1998 after a 4-2 victory over Denmark. The tournament will be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, expanding from 32 to 48 teams and running 39 days. Six final places will be decided by intercontinental and UEFA playoffs, with the intercontinental playoff finale on March 31, 2026, and European qualification continuing until March.
