FIFA received more than 500 million ticket requests for the 2026 World Cup. Outside the host nations United States, Mexico and Canada, the most requests came from residents of Germany, England, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Argentina and Colombia. FIFA listed tickets priced up to $8,680 and later committed to offering $60 tickets for every game to the 48 national federations, with those federations deciding distribution to qualifying fans. The third sales phase ran from Dec. 11 through Tuesday, with the most-requested matches including Colombia vs. Portugal in Miami and Mexico vs. South Korea in Guadalajara. Applicants will be notified no earlier than Feb. 5, with random allocation where demand exceeds availability.
