
"The 11th FIFA Arab Cup is hosted by Qatar and kicks off in the capital, Doha, on Monday. Tunisia will face Syria, and Qatar will host Palestine on the opening day of the tournament. The final will take place at the iconic 89,000-seat Lusail Stadium on December 18. A total of six venues have been selected, all of which were used during the 2022 World Cup. The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups, with 32 matches in total."
"The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stage, which features the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final. There is also a third-place playoff between the two losing semifinalists. In the knockout stages, if a match is level at the end of normal playing time, it will go to 30 minutes of extra time and, if required, penalties."
FIFA Arab Cup 2025 takes place in Qatar from December 1 to December 18 across six stadiums used in the 2022 World Cup.
