Arsenal defeated Tottenham 4-1 in the North London derby with Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres each scoring twice. Eze opened the scoring and later extended the lead after Randal Kolo Muani had briefly equalised for Tottenham. Gyokeres scored early in the second half and added a stoppage-time goal. Eze has six league goals this season, five of which have been against Tottenham, and nearly joined Spurs in the summer before Arsenal signed him for a reported 60 million pounds ($80m). The win moved Arsenal five points clear though Manchester City hold a game in hand and face Arsenal in mid-April.
