Nick Semaca's Lakefront Football Partners LLC is set to complete a takeover of National League club Wealdstone, with an exclusivity period running until 31 October to finalise the deal. The club's lease at Grosvenor Vale will be renewed under the agreement. Shareholders voted overwhelmingly to approve the takeover at an extraordinary general meeting. Semaca previously worked as a director at McKinsey & Company and moved into sports investment after retiring in 2013. He bought the Joliet Slammers and later sold them to a group including Bill Murray. Semaca served on Leyton Orient's board from 2021 until April; Wealdstone sit 10th with 19 points after 14 games.
