He was taken to hospital, placed in an induced coma, and underwent surgery intended to aid recovery. The operation initially helped but the injury proved too severe and he died on Thursday morning. Chichester City confirmed his passing, requested privacy for his family, and postponed Saturday's match against Lewes. Vigar joined Arsenal's academy in 2017, turned professional in 2022, and previously had loan spells with Derby under-21s, Hastings, and Eastbourne Borough.
