"This is a humbling moment, and it is a privilege to accept this responsibility. This club and its fanbase have been through a lot this year,"
"Our immediate focus is on establishing a strong, professional foundation for the future."
"This club gave me unforgettable memories as a player, and that bond has never left me,"
Dagenham & Redbridge have been taken over by investment consortium Happy Fan Group Ltd, ending a two-year ownership by Club Underdog. Club Underdog oversaw the club's relegation to the sixth tier last season. United States-based businessman John Grabowski fronts Happy Fan Group and described the takeover as a humbling responsibility, stating the immediate focus is on establishing a strong, professional foundation for the future. The takeover brings back former player Anwar Uddin as a director and non-executive chairman. Uddin made 225 appearances for the club between 2004 and 2010 and captained the side to the National League title and promotion to League One. Dagenham & Redbridge currently sit ninth in the table, six points off the play-off places.
