Crystal Palace consider Max Kilman as potential Guehi replacement - Soccer News
"According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace have identified West Ham defender Maximilian Kilman as a potential replacement for Marc Guehi, should the England international leave during the January transfer window. Guehi was on the verge of joining Liverpool in a late summer move which fell through at the eleventh hour, and while the interest of the Premier League champions remains, Real Madrid are said to be considering a swoop for his services on a free transfer as well."
"Both clubs are believed to be pitching the idea of a free transfer next summer to the player who will be out of contract by then, but a January sale cannot be ruled out either at this point. And if Guehi does leave Palace, the South Londoners could make their move for Kilman, who has so far made 49 appearances in all competitions for West Ham since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024."
Crystal Palace have identified West Ham centre-back Maximilian Kilman as a potential replacement if Marc Guehi leaves during the January transfer window. Marc Guehi nearly completed a late-summer move to Liverpool that collapsed, while Liverpool remain interested and Real Madrid are also reportedly considering signing him on a free transfer. Both clubs are said to be proposing a free move next summer as Guehi will be out of contract, though a January exit is possible. Palace could pursue Kilman, who has made 49 appearances for West Ham since joining from Wolverhampton in 2024, but Kilman is contracted to West Ham until 2031.
