Ronaldo plays club football for Al-Nassr in Riyadh, a 14.5-hour flight from the United States. Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 after terminating his Manchester United contract before the last World Cup and has become the face of Saudi football. The dinner coincided with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's state visit, and Gianni Infantino, FIFA president, was also present.
