Cristiano Ronaldo reaffirms commitment: 'I belong to Saudi Arabia'
"I'm very happy. As I say many times, I belong to Saudi Arabia."
"It's a country that welcomes very well to me, to my family and friends. I'm happy here, I want to continue here."
"The most important is we keep pushing, we're there at the top, we don't know the results of the other opponents. Let's see, we do our job, win, make pressure and let's see at the end of the season. We are on track, we are back, we are good, we have confidence. I'm very proud,"
Cristiano Ronaldo missed two Saudi Pro League matches in early February amid dissatisfaction over the Public Investment Fund's perceived lack of investment in Al-Nassr while rivals signed Karim Benzema. He returned on Feb. 14 to score and then added a brace in a 4-0 win over Al-Nazem that moved Al-Nassr to the top of the table. The boycott ended after management authority was restored to Simão Coutinho and José Semedo and overdue salaries were paid. Ronaldo said he belongs to Saudi Arabia, expressed happiness and a desire to continue, and is contracted until summer 2027.
