The recent championship has brought enjoyment, making this timing even more crucial to enhance engagement in the subsequent months.
Now that the hay is saved and Kerry are champions again, we begin the long look ahead. No football for six months and Croke Park off limits except for American football, Oasis and rugby.
It seems pretty foolish to finish in high summer and leave the rest of the year free for other sports to fill the vacuum. The championship delivered enjoyment for the first time in a while.
