Luke Chambers has joined Charlton on loan from Liverpool for the remainder of the season. The 21-year-old progressed through Liverpool's academy from age six and made four first-team appearances in 2023-24, featuring in the Europa League and EFL Cup. Chambers previously spent loan spells at Kilmarnock and League One side Wigan, making 31 appearances during two spells at Wigan. Charlton prioritized a left-sided defender and winger during the January window and described Chambers as technically excellent, athletic and a progressive passer. He is Charlton's third January signing after Harry Clarke and Lyndon Dykes.
