Charlton sign Fevrier on loan & Heed keeper Brooks
"The manager wants me to come in and play my game, take the ball up the pitch, excite people, be me, and I'm excited as I have the opportunity to play in the Championship."
"I'm buzzing it's finally over the line and I really can't wait to get going - I came to The Valley when I was younger to watch Charlton play Sheffield Wednesday and it's a beautiful stadium."
Charlton Athletic signed Jayden Fevrier on loan from Stockport County until season's end and agreed a two-and-a-half year deal for goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks from Gateshead with a club option. Fevrier, 22, can operate as a wing-back or winger, made 28 appearances with two goals for Stockport in the first half of the season, began at West Ham and moved to Colchester in 2022 where he won the club's young player of the year. Brooks, 23, is a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international who became Gateshead's first-choice goalkeeper in 2024. Brooks replaces Ashley Maynard-Brewer and is likely to compete with Will Mannion for the backup spot behind Thomas Kaminski. These arrivals bring Charlton's January signings to five.
