Omari Kellyman has signed for Cardiff City on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The 19-year-old underwent corrective hamstring surgery in late March and accepted a move to League One to restart his career. Kellyman has made just four Under-21 appearances since joining Chelsea for £19m from Aston Villa and has not played first-team football at Stamford Bridge. Cardiff, relegated from the Championship last season, are unbeaten under new head coach Brian Barry-Murphy. Kellyman is the club's third summer signing after goalkeeper Nathan Trott and defender Gabriel Osho.
I like to make things happen. I like to be forward thinking and get on the ball as much as possible. I want to come here, get some goals and assists and help the team,
I've been watching the recent games and it's been great to see the exciting players we already have. I'm looking forward to playing with the lads.
