Lakyle Samuel, aged 19, has joined League Two club Bromley on loan from Manchester City for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign. Samuel joined Manchester City's academy at age eight and progressed through the youth ranks. He played eight matches for Manchester City's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy in recent seasons and helped the under-18s win the Premier League title in 2023. He primarily plays at right-back but can operate in the centre of defence, providing positional versatility. Samuel is currently with the England Under-20 squad during the international break ahead of their match with Italy.
